Black Stars Goalkeepers Laud Appiah

Two weeks after their preparations for the World Cup under the tutelage of Coach Kwasi Appiah, Black Stars goalkeeping trio, Fatau Dauda, Stephen Adams and Adam Kwarasey say they are impressed by the coachs training methods. Adams and Dauda were tested in the farewell friendly against a local select XI last week. Kwarasey, who captains Norwegian champions Stromsgodset, was impressive in Saturdays game against The Netherlands in Rotterdam. The youngster made a strong showing with his goalkeeping heroics and now appears to be in strong position to capture the post for the Stars But the three goalkeepers are satisfied with the work done by the technical team and expressed optimism about Ghanas chances at the World Cup. Training hasnt been easy and was totally intense than what we had in Accra I must say, Kwarasey stated. Its been really hot here with attention giving to little details, he added. Dauda also had similar words for the technical team. Real work has begun and the technical team has really done well to keep us all on our toes, he stated. Adams also praised the level of professionalism being displayed by the technical team. Training has been great with few challenges. Everybody knows the task ahead and the coaches are leaving no stone unturned as we get ready for the World Cup, he noted. The Stars are currently in Miami, Florida, to finalise preparations and will play their final warm-up match against South Korea on June 9.
