Exopa Modeling Agency has announced that it would halt some of its major modeling activities in the months of June and July due to World Cup activities that would be underway in Brazil within that period. The world soccer tournament will kick off on June 12 and come to an end on July 13. As a result, a number of events in Ghana are being put on hold due to the anticipation that the soccer euphoria would outshine every other activity. Exopa has indicated that it had already shifted its L-Fashion event to August and its New Faces contest had been scheduled for next year. �We will like to announce to all who follow our modeling activities that our New Faces Contest won�t come off this year because of the World Cup activities. The months left after the tournament are not enough for us to be able to get many contestants for the grand finale in December. So after our L- Fashion Night in August, we will do Exopa Fashion Nite in December, and then start New Faces in January 2015. The Exopa Fashion Nite will be used as a platform for graduated fashion designers to start up,� the agency said in a release. Last week it held auditions to select plus size models for the L-Fashion Nite in August.
