Abrahmovic To Sack Mourinho If...

Chelsea billionaire owner, Roman Abrahmovic, is ready to sack Coach Jose Mourinho as early as next season if he does not deliver results, Tony Cascarino has claimed. The Blues are on the verge of completing deal for Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa and a move for Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas likely to be sealed in the coming days. And Cascarino, a former Chelsea striker, believes that Mourinho would be sacked if he does not immediately achieve results with an augmented Chelsea team. Cascarino told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show: If we look at the history of Chelsea, an indifferent start can cost you your job. "This season was difficult. He spoke about what Chelsea lacked to be champions, and he was spot on. That will count for nothing ten games in to next season if they dont look a real side. Roman Abramovich has sacked people for far less. Carlo Ancelotti left after being successful. Theyve had Luiz Felipe Scolari and Andre Villas-Boas [who have also been sacked]. Roberto Di Matteo won the Champions League [and was still removed]. After 10 or 15 games, if Chelsea dont look right, Id be very surprised if Mourinho was still there. The owner will give him everything he wants but, after that, if you dont succeed very quickly you can find yourself out of a job."
