THE NEW Patriotic Party Member of Parliament for Asante Akim North Constituency, Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyemang, has God Almighty to thank after miraculously surviving a motor accident whilst on the way to his constituency on Monday.
The young MP had the driver�s side of his Land Cruiser Prado seriously damaged after crushing onto a Ford Sprinter passenger bus at Hwidiem, few kilometres away from Agogo. Interestingly, the MP got involved in the terrible accident few hours after struggling in the national capital to get fuel to power his car.
Hon. Baah Agyemang had to join a long queue at a filling station in Accra before getting access to petrol, which became a scarce commodity across the country few days ago. He was on his way to participate in a Republic Day event which he had planned to organize in the constituency as part of activities to commemorate the holiday celebration.
Though there were no casualties as a result of the incident, Hon. Baah Agyemang, said it was a divine intervention that saved him from being plunged into a ravine along the road. �It was interesting that after I have struggled to acquire little fuel for my car and going to visit my constituency something of this sort could happen to me but I am grateful to the Almighty God for sparing my life and those in the other vehicle,� He noted.
