Nanas Ambition Is Selfless-Driven

A LEADING Member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Kumasi, Mr. George Ayisi-Boateng, has observed that the objective of the two times Presidential Candidate of the party, Nana Addo Danwkah Akufo-Addo, is mainly to serve Ghana and not enrich himself. Mr. Ayisi-Boateng says Nana Addo is driven by his ambition to serve Ghana and transform the economy of the country for the benefit of the people. Praising the twice defeated Presidential Candidate for his immense contribution to Ghanas democratic development, the NPP founding member noted that Nana Addos exemplary leadership and political maturity is unmatched, stressing it is about time Ghanaians offer him the opportunity to serve and change the fate of the country. Mr. Ayisi-Boateng observed that with the backing of a strong economic team led by his former running mate, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, Ghanaians can be rest assured that their fate would be in good and competent hands under the reign of the New Patriotic Party. Speaking on ASHH FM in Kumasi, the NPP leading member, therefore, urged delegates of the party to vote massively for Nana Addo in the upcoming flagbearership election, in order to ensure that the dream of Ghanaians become a reality. He said despondent Ghanaians were looking up to the NPP to salvage them from the economic moribund under the President Mahama-led administration of the NDC. Mr. Ayisi-Boateng said Ghanas economy would see rapid transformation under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, when given the mandate in the December general elections, adding that Nana Addo possesses the qualities of a visionary leader to use the available resources for the rapid economic transformation of the country. We do not need a leader who will come and decide to enrich himself rather than serving Mother Ghana, a leader whose objective is to own all fuel stations in the country and compete with private individuals for business, Nana Addo is not such type and will never engage in self-aggrandizement at the expense of the people, he emphasized. The NPP leading member further observed that he wonders what other negative message the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) will have against the former presidential candidate of the NPP having in previous occasions tagged him as a violent man and drug addict, none of which turned out to be true. The NDC has exhausted its propaganda machinery against Nana Addo because none of the previous negative campaigns against him worked and in 2016. I wonder what they will say again, Nana Addo has proven himself to be a genuine politician whose only vision and objective is to serve Ghana and transform the economy for the benefit of us all, lets all support him to make this dream a reality, he pleaded . Mr. Ayisi-Boateng therefore reiterated the call for clean campaign devoid of insults and mudslinging. One man cannot form an army and we should know that party electoral victory requires team work and efforts from every single department within the party from the ward, polling station, constituency, regional and national levels, he said.
