General Secretary of the Trades Union Congress (TUC), Kofi Asamoah has been described by Maverick politician, Chuck Kofi Wayo as a �fake leader� who only cares about his personal gains. The rather negative labeling comes after the TUC boss warned the Ghana Police not to attempt interfering in the union�s planned nationwide demonstration scheduled for Thursday, July 24. The aim of the demonstration is to allow some determined workers express their frustrations about the worsening socio-economic conditions in the country. But Mr. Wayo, in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM's late afternoon show "Ekwanso Br3br3", stated that Mr. Kofi Asamoah had simply deployed a cosmetic tactic to deceive the people he is working for. The founder of the United Renaissance Party accused Mr. Asamoah of not acting genuinely from his heart when most workers were finding it extremely hard to put food on the table. He chastised the TUC capo for �caring only about the number of boards successive government would put him on and not the plight of workers who belonged to his union�. The outspoken politican further stated that there is empirical evidence to show that Mr. Asamoah enjoys traveling outside than meeting with the �poor� men and women whose toil and sweat keeps the union on its feet.
