NPP UK Jabs Mahama

The UK branch of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has lambasted President John Dramani Mahama for failing to effectively manage the countrys economy and combat corruption. According to the political grouping, Ghanaians, under the leadership of the Mahama administration, continue to suffer untold hardship as a result of the gross economic mismanagement. They indicated that the prices of goods and services and petroleum products have been increased drastically since President Mahama assumed office in 2012. Nana Ansah Oboufour, Deputy Director of Communications, NPP UK and his colleagues, in a press statement issued on Tuesday in Accra, observed that there is not a day or a week that President John Dramani Mahama does not inflict more disgrace, pain and suffering on innocent Ghanaians. From the scandals of the just-ended World Cup where $3 million and more were packed in bags like groundnuts and sent to Brazil under the supervision of Elvis Afriyie Ankrah and Joseph Yammin, who were shamelessly rewarded with promotions, scandalous GYEEDA and Subah frauds, STX housing scams and the 51 million Ghana cedis doled out to Alfred Agbesi Woyome, it is clear that Mr. Mahama is only in office to create, loot and share with his family members, cronies and NDC party apologists. President Mahama has made Ghana a laughing stock in the international community who are reluctant to support the economy because of the sheer waste of public money and the incredible corruption, they stated. According to them, members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration continue to ruthlessly loot and rob Ghanas resources. They noted that it is very clear that President Mahama is unfit and incapable of running our country and the sooner we have elections to elect a leader who is visionary and selfless that will work for the success of Ghana the better.
