A 21-year-old woman Yaa Yaaba, resident of Oppong Valley near Wassa Akropong in the Western region, has burned the hand of her six-year-old daughter for eating the food that is meant for her father. According to Trinity FM�s Nana Ofori Ampah, the woman had prepared rice and stew for her husband and went outside to run some errands. Upon arrival, she found her daughter eating the food. Out of anger, Yaaba tied her two-year-old daughter�s mouth with a cloth to prevent people from hearing her scream and put her hand in fire. Unfortunately, the plan did not work, so a resident heard the girl shouting; rescued the girl and reported the matter to the police. Meanwhile, the girl is currently receiving treatment at the Wassa Akropong hospital and Yaa Yaaba is also in the custody of Wassa Akropong police.
