PHOTOS: Nana Addo Celebrates Eid-Ul-Fitr With Nima Community

Two-time Presidential candidate of the NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo seems to have many admirers and followers more than any opposition leader in the country. Aspiring again to lead the elephant family in 2016 after coming close to the presidency in 2012, Nana Addo joined the Muslim community of Nima to celebrate this years Eid-Ul-Fitr in a grand style. Thousands of Eid-Ul-Fitr celebrants welcomed the NPP presidential hopeful with a loud chant We Want NanaNo Nana No Vote after many have expressed their disappointment in the incumbent government. Addressing an enthusiastic crowd at Nima, Monday, Nana Addo urged all Muslims to continue to demonstrate, continually, a sense of unity and oneness in the years ahead. He however used the opportunity to call on all to support in his campaign to lead the NPP for the third time. The campaign will begin at Akoto Lante in the Odododiodio Constituency in the Greater Accra Region Tuesday, July 29, 2014. According to Nana Addo, he is going back to his roots, the venue for this event will be Akwei's House, the historical meeting ground of the United Party (the Danquah-Dombo-Busia family), not far from Betty House, Swalaba where Akufo-Addo was born.
