On Thursday, 31st July, 2014, Christian Home School held their 15th graduation ceremony at the school's premise in Dansoman. The theme for the event was Sustaining Our Academic Achievement So Far: The Way Forward. It was well patronized by students, teaching and non teaching staffs of the institution and parents. In an emotional address to the gathering, Mr. Joseph Noble- Nkrumah, praised the graduands for the exceptional performance they put up during their stay at the institution. As the head of the school, he stated that the school could have topped the table but for some self inflicted challenges, another story was told. The challenges included apathy towards academic work and lateness to special classes designed to enhance their examination preparedness among others, he said. Based on the schools experience, Mr. Joseph Noble- Nkrumah revealed that new interactive modes of learning strategies have been mapped out to aid students when learning. He however challenged parents to seize the bull by the horn and encourage their wards to stop being playful and lazy. This can only be done by your spending quality time with them and encouraging them to be studious at all times He further advised parents to mindful about the way their female wards dressed to occasions. Sometimes, we feel highly embarrassed to see them in outrageous attires which eventually, dent the reputation of this school. We realized that decent people dont only ask of the school such children attend but also the home from where they came from, he noted.
