Being a friend of the First Family places a burden of extra responsibility on whoever is involved, to behave in socially acceptable manner; but it seems one person who is alleged to be grossly abusing that enviable relationship is the deceitful and backstabbing Randy Abbey. Allowed by President John Dramani Mahama and his wife, Lordina to drag their names in the mud, Randy Abbey, is, according to intelligence picked up by this paper, busily using the name of the First Family to pursue his Akufo-Addo-like unbridled ambition to become President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) �at all cost�. To be able to unseat the current GFA Boss, Mr. Kwasi Nyantakyi, who he fell out with sometime ago, Randy Abbey is said to have lobbied by peddling his closeness with the First Family to assume ownership of some football clubs, notably the Heart of Lions, of which The Informer can authoritatively report he holds no shares as he wants Ghanaians to believe. Noted for destroying old friends for new ones, Randy Abbey is alleged to be the brain behind the incessant crusade being wage against Mr. Kwasi Nyantakyi, to resign as the President of GFA; so he can take over with assistance from the President and wife. As part of his grand scheme to get the top post, Randy Abbey is said to have flooded the length and breadth of Ghana with his T-Shirts, with the inscriptions; �We Want Randy to Rule GFA� and �Bring Randy Now�, particularly, in the Ashanti Regional capital of Kumasi, during the President�s recent visit to join the Muslims as they mark Eid-ul-Fitr. As part of his influence peddling, the Metro TV�s �Good Morning Ghana� programme host, is said to be bragging that he had received the blessing of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama and the wife, to try and kick out his one-time-friend, Kwasi Nyantakyi. According to this paper�s insider sources, Randy has sworn heaven and earth to unseat the current GFA Boss, indicating that, his plans of ascending to the said top post has been on the burner and will do everything humanly possible, to ensure Kwasi Nyantakyi is kicked out at the next GFA congress. The Informer has also picked up that, some conscienceless and charlatanic football administrators and journalists will soon flood the airwaves to do Randy Abbey�s bidding of achieving his aims of becoming the next GFA President. Very discerning political watchers still question why President John Mahama, then as Vice President to the late President John Evans Atta Mils, could not call his friend to order when he was all over the airwaves making disparaging comments about his late Boss, whose toil he is shamefully enjoying and covetously planning evil against his old-time-friends, including Kwasi Nyantakyi. The Informer will, in the coming days, expose Randy Abbey of his claims as the majority shareholder of the Hearts of Lions Football Club.
