The residents of Suhum 44 in the Suhum Municipality, have appealed to the Suhum Municipal Police Commander to intensify their patrol to their area to protect them from criminals. Mr Sam Debrah, Director of Samsco Poultry Farms, made the appeal through the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Suhum. He said for the past nine months, thieves had been harassing the residents of Suhum 44 and that two weeks ago, thieves broke into his poultry farm in the night and made away with 120 birds. He said that was the second time thieves had broken into his poultry farm and made away with some birds. Mr Debrah said he suspected the thieves put the birds into a Zoomlion dustbin placed outside the house to convey the birds. He said on August 2, this year, the thieves broke into the grasscutter farm of one Mr Yahaya Mohammed, also a resident of the area, and made away with 65 grasscutters including 15 pregnant ones.
