Fear Grips People Of Bolgatanga As Two Persons Murdered

Many people in Bolgatanga and its surroundings are living in fear as two men were murdered in bizarre manners in the the Municipality. The first was murdered and his head hung on a door post in an uncompleted building at Tindongsogbligo in Bolgatanga and the second person�s body believed to be about 45 years was also found floating in a river called Kolaa without its head. Narrating the incident to the GNA in Bolgatanga on Tuesday, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Upper East Regional Police Command, Assistant Superintendent of Police Thomas Agbanyo, said last Friday the police had a call that a body was found hanging in front of an uncompleted house at Tindongsogbligo. He said when the police got to the scene they dug the floor of the rooms in the building and found two human feet, a penis and a chain in the first room. A black polythene bag with some human parts were in the second room and birds� feathers and some charms in the third room. The owner of the house, Madam Emma Sombila, 45, has been arrested and put on remand pending more investigation. The Police PRO assured people in the Municipality and its surroundings of adequate security and that night patrols had been intensified.
