Amissah Arthur Describes Late P V Obengs As An Extraordinary Person

The Vice President, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, has stated that the late P.V Obeng was a great man describing him as an extraordinary person who had the passion to see Ghana develop. Vice President Kwesi amissah Arthur, made this statement in a sober mood on Thursday afternoon 14th August after he had file past the mortal remains the late P.V. Obeng, a Senior Presidential Adviser, who died some months, at the State House where he has been laid in state and would be buried in his hometown in Akrokere in the Ashanti region on Saturday 16th August 2014. Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur, addressing pressmen described late P.V. Obeng as the one who introduced him to the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC) in 1983, and that he would miss him greatly because an Oak has fallen and Ghana has really lost one of its illustrious sons. He said the late P.V. Obeng would be missed because of his selflessness and dedication to work for mother Ghana and called on the youth in the country to emulate such a great personality. Mr. Amissah-Arthur said the late P.V Obeng was a brother a mentor, adviser and a colleague who was ready to serve in any capacity and was a selfless person.
