Jay Ghartey Releases No Fronting Video

In the wake of huge expectations mounting over his return, Ghanaian-born Afrobeat singer, Jay Ghartey, has told his fans to expect a rather thunderous comeback than they had anticipated. The My Lady hit-maker, who is currently recording some songs in the US, said his comeback later this year would be much bigger than any that he had done. This, he explained, was because, I am busy in the studios putting finishing touches to some tracks which would more than quench the thirst of every much music fan in Ghana and abroad who has been waiting for me. He said some of the songs feature top artistes in the world of music, including Ghana and Africa. But ahead of the albums release, Jay Ghartey disclosed to peacefmonline.com that he has finished work on the video of his hit song, No Fronting, which features popular rapper-cum-sound engineer, EL, and AJ Omo Alajah, of Black Avenue Muzik fame. The video, which he released onto his YouTube Channel and other social media platforms on Wednesday, appears to have caused some traffic on the net, as global audiences continue to watch and download daily. Jay indicated that measures had been put in place to soon premiere the video on Ghanaian television stations and networks, as well as Channel O, for all classes of music audiences, including those without access to the internet. He revealed that the No Fronting video was shot in Accra and the New York, upon the creative direction of popular Ghanaian cinematographer, Prince Dovlo, and American Syke Williams. The song, he added, throws more light on the rich African culture, its resources and people. On other projects, Jay announced that he would soon release a love song, Se Wo Do Me A Bra, which features Flowking Stone, of Bradez fame, and follow it up with the music video for his song, Love You Better, which features Ugandan award-winning songstress, Juliana Kanyomozi. As I speak, that video is 99% complete and ready, he said, indicating that it would soon premiere on Channel O before airing on TV in Ghana, New York and UK.
