The morning show host of Kumasi-based Kapital radio, Mr Kojo Marfo has been shot in a gang attack at his residence on Sunday. A report by Sampson Kwame Nyamekye of Hello FM indicated that six armed men attacked the house, shot Kojo Marfo and one other guy alleged to be a banker in the thigh and palm respectively. According to information gathered by this reporter, Kojo Marfo�s landlord, Maxwell, Managing Director of Mediterranean project, went out with some foreign visitors and on their way back home, he spotted the armed men laying ambush in the area. He started speeding into the house but the armed men in a chase started shooting at him and shouting �you cannot run; we came for you�. Upon reaching the house, Maxwell managed to escape by jumping the wall of his house. The armed men then went to into the house where Maxwell�s wife and kids also leaved; shot Kojo Marfo and the banker. They however, left Maxwell�s wife, kids and the visitors unharmed. Meanwhile the police are conducting investigation to ascertain if it was a robbery attack or a contract killing attempt. The two men shot, survived and are responding to treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi.
