Bird Turns Into Human At Aflao

Residents of Avoeme at Aflao in the Ketu North District of the Volta Region were greeted with shock last Friday, when they witnessed a bird suddenly turning into an elderly woman. The woman, an alleged witch who gave her name as Ayawovi Tetteh, from Nwefe, in Togo was consequently rushed to the palace of one of the sub-chiefs at Avoeme and finally released to her relatives in Togo, after a delegation was dispatched from Aflao to locate relatives of the flying captain Eye witnesses told The Spectator that the 59-year-old woman claimed she was assigned together with her daughter whose name she gave only as Nadesh, to destroy a certain man at Aflao but his burly body prevented them from executing the mission. According to the woman, at a point, they had to abandon their mission and as they were flying back to Togo, a misunderstanding ensured between the mother and daughter who pushed her (Ayawofi) on reaching Avoeme, few meters into Togo where she fell. She alleged that her daughters action (anger) stemmed from the fear that they would be punished by their superiors for failing to accomplish the task given them. When she was probed further, she said, she initiated her daughter into the witchcraft 11 years ago, noting that Nadesh, is now 30 years. Eyewitnesses said Ayawovi, who was visibly moody, vowed to retaliate against her daughter saying apart from disrespecting her as her mother, she also underrated her as one of the senior most persons in the cult and the one who initiated her into the society. She described her daughters action as total disrespect and warned that she would deal with her anytime they are assigned on a mission. She revealed that she lived together with four of her children including Nadesh in a family house but unknown to the tenants they belonged to an occult group and operated spiritually. She further revealed that they sometimes left the house at midnight claiming that physically, they could be seen sleeping but spiritually they were off on a mission.
