Several people have endorsed Nana Akufo Addo as the New Patriotic Party prepares for their special congress on 31st August, 2014. Latest to endorse him is the Alliance for Accountable Governance (AFAG). AFAG is well-known for the unremitting pressure on the Mahama led National Democratic Congress (NDC) government on many issues such as the famous Woyome judgement debt, GYEEDA, Subah Info Solutions and the sale of Merchant Bank. The president of the group, Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie spoke to Citi FM and disclosed AFAG�s open endorsement of Nana Akufo Addo�s bid to lead NPP in 2016. He argued that it would be calamitous for delegates to replace Nana Addo with any of the aspirants as flagbearer. According to him, Nana Akufo Addo is an incorruptible and decisive leader who possessed the knowhow to stabilize Ghana�s ailing economy.
