Dr. Opuni And Zoomlion's $50m Scam Exposed

A few days ago, Ernest Owusu-Bempah published a story entitled "Prez Mahama Tasks CEO of COCOBOD To Raise Over $50m To Become His Running Mate In 2016?". Gauging the nonchallant public response to the story, it became clear to us that either the Ghanaian people were not particularly concerned about the bombshell or most people didn't believe story or the writer. After conducting our own investigations, Citizens for Accountable Governance (CAG) can confirm that the scam is indeed in its advance stage towards implimentation, Dr. Stephen Opuni, CEO of Cocobod is infact under intense pressure from the president and his handlers to raise $50 million through ficticious Cocobod contracts to Jospong/Zoomlion. It will be recalled that Dr. Stephen K. Opuni was appointed CEO of Cocobod on November 30th, 2013 after the former FDA Chief Executive was caught in the middle of a tussle between Tobinco pharmacy and the Food and Drugs Administration. The plans were hatched long before his (Dr. Opuni's) reassignment to Cocobod for the Brong man Opuni to partner President Mahama as running mate for 2016. The president's handlers were just working out the details and plotting how to raise money for the campaign. It is no secret that Dr. Opuni has been nurturing presidential ambitions, so it was easy for the 'Gonja Mafia' to task him with the conditions, afterall it follows the recurring theme of the Mahama modus oparandi - Northern/Bono exclusive. After Owusu Bempah first exposed the scam in the media, many watchdogs have joined the crusade to keep very keen eyes on how the heist will be executed. CAG and other individuals and groupings are determined to raise serious alarm at the hint of any suspicious dealings between Cocobod and Jospong/Zoomlion or any other company for that matter.
