Provisional Results reaching Peacefmonline.com from the Upper West Region indicate that the 2012 Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has won the votes of the delegates by a landslide. Nana Addo recorded 32 votes out of the 32 delegates who cast their votes in the Region. According to the Second Vice Chairman of the NPP, Mr. Hafiz Bin Salih who spoke in an interview with Happy FM the six other contestants all had zero votes. This therefore gives Nana Addo victory over his competitors in the flagbearership slot. The delegates in the Region together with some polling agents have been thrown into a state of ecstasy.
