Information reaching peacefmonline.com indicates that a fuel tanker has exploded at Assin Fosu in the Central Region. According an eye witness, the fuel tanker exploded in the early hours of Friday at the Assin Fosu market centre on its way to Kumasi. Due to its proximity to the market centre, the explosion has set ablaze about 20 stores and is still spreading. The Ghana National Fire Service are on the scene trying to put out the fire. Meanwhile, the number of people injured are yet to be determined. More soon...
