Thugs And Criminals Are Giving NPP A Bad Name Alans Boy

Phillip Langdon, a Member of the Campaign Team of New Patriotic Party (NPP) Flagbearer Aspirant, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, has asked members of the opposition party to cease the intimidatory tactics and insults directed at his candidate. He believes there is always a first time winner and so nobody must be intimidated. We move on to the second run and we are very hopeful. Some members of the NPP after the Super Delegates Congress held last Sunday, asked Mr Kyerematen to step down from the race. They believed there is no way he (Alan) can defeat his main contender, Nana Akufo Addo who garnered more than 80% of the total votes cast. However, in a short and precise statement, Alan Kyeremanten snubbed calls for him to back out of the race and rather stressed that he is NPPs choice. Contributing to a panel discussion on Alhaji and Alhaji, a political discussion programme on Radio Gold, Philip Langdon said he was not happy with happenings in the NPP, particularly the various acts of intimidation directed at his candidate, adding that thugs and criminals are just giving our party a bad name I believe there are good people in our party, I believe there is a first time winner; let nobody try to intimidate anybodyour party brand is already suffering from inactions or actions that are taking place. Thugs and criminals are just giving our party a bad name and it is not helping us. We have gone through a first stage and we are going to go through the second stage, he stated. He cautioned the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) not to make political capital out of what is currently happening in the NPP because it can happen to any other political party at any time. However, let not some celebrate itlet it be a lesson to them; that the mistakes that have been made (in NPP) will not be repeated, he urged.
