Osei-Ameyaws Decision Has Put A Smile On My Face

Following the landslide victory Nana Akufo-Addo chalked during the New Patriotic Partys Super Delegate Congress, he has been tipped as the candidate to emerge victorious in the coming congress scheduled for October, 18, 2014. Nana Addo has received vast endorsement compared to his contenders and what makes his case special is that the very people he taught a political lesson, are out to throw their weight behind him after testing the waters. Prior to the New Patriotic Partys Super Delegates Congress which was organized on 31st August, 2014, seven candidates expressed their willingness to lead the party in the 2016 general elections. Out of the seven, two (Konadu Apraku and Asamoah Boateng) failed to make the pass mark and were evicted from the competition scheduled for 18th October, 2014. One other candidate (Joe Ghartey) was quick to announce his decision not to contest again. Mr. Ghartey has today been joined by another candidate (Osei-Ameyaw). It is based on Osei Ameyaws decision that Nana Akufo-Addo has come out to congratulate him and declared that his bold initiative has put a smile on his face. In an interview with Peace FM, the two time flagbearer for the NPP declared his willingness to work with the Member of Parliament for Asuogyaman Constituency, Kofi Osei-Ameyaw when he comes on board. It is yet to be known if the remaining candidates, Hon. Addai-Nimoh and Mr. Alan Kyeremateng would follow suit and allow Nana Akufo-Addo run unopposed.
