It appears Nana�s fever would forever penetrate the hearts of New Patriotic Party members and that of Ghanaians who are looking for a change of government come 2016. In the build up to the Super delegate congress which was recently held by the party to cut down the number of presidential aspirants, several groups came out to endorse the candidature of Nana Akufo-Addo. The news remains same as the Upper West Nasara Wing of the party, have come out to pledge their allegiance to support Nana Akufo-Addo as he prepares to battle the other candidates in the October, 18th, 2014. Led by Osman Mahmoud, who is the coordinator for the Upper West Regional Nasara, the group revealed that following the incessant calls they have received from grassroot supporters, they have been forced to come out and make a declaration. According to him, the region is prepared to massively vote Nana Addo and work after to ensure he becomes president after winning the impending congress. Below is a release the group released in support of Nana Addo Ladies and Gentlemen, the purpose for our gathering as members of the Upper West Regional Nasara wing of the NPP is to declare our position in the impending flagbearership race; and also adduce reasons to that. This meeting with the press is necessitated by the many calls from the grassroot supporters of the party in the Region. Therefore, the exposition to be stated here represents that of the entire members of the Nasara Wing in the Region. In our midst are respected opinion leaders from the Muslim communities in the Region, who are here to show their support for this worthy course. Ladies and Gentlemen of the press, not too long ago, a Super Delegate Congress was arranged to cut down the number of flagbearer aspirants as defined by our constitution. Eventually, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo had 81.27% at the end of voting and the region contributed 100%. It our considered view, that Nana Akufo Addo be given the nod by all delegates of our great party to lead us to victory 2016. As a group, we collectively endorse Nana Ado Danquah Akufo Addo as the flagbearer of the NPP and pledge to vote massively for him come October 18th, 2014. The voice of the people matters to Allah and in fact Nana represents the people's choice; hence Allah's choice. Secondly, the love Nana has shown to us as a people by his repeated show of confidence in our brother Dr Bawumia as his Running Mate, motivates us to rally behind him. At this juncture, we the Nasara Coordinators and executives, Muslim brothers and sisters and Polling Station Executives, do hereby declare our unflinching support for Nana Ado Danquah Akufo Addo.
