We Have No Selfless And Patriotic Leaders Anymore- Nkrumahs Former MP

Former Member of Parliament for Brong Ahafo in the first Republic of Ghana under Dr. Kwame Nkrumah has described past and present leaders except the first President of Ghana as selfish and unpatriotic persons who sought and are still seeking their personal gains at the expense of the nations development. According to Lucy Animwaa Anin, it took the visionary and selfless Dr. Kwame Nkrumah to greatly transform the country within few years with the resources left in his possession as he did not enrich himself and acquire any property for his family. Responding to the deteriorating nature of the country, the leading member of CPP posits that the country is being handled by leaders who love themselves more than the country, adding there is no patriotism anymore in the country as they sit aloof for the whites to take control of the natural resources. To one of the first female Member of Parliament in Ghana, she wondered why Ghanaians are not proud of themselves enough to allow a Ghanaian to manage the Eenior National Team except to depend on a white man for solution for the Black Stars. She stressed that the countrys leaders are in bed with corruption and greedy, hence their zeal to impose on the country the GMO bill that will impoverished the masses and affluent the few politicians. Lucy Animwaa professed that Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumahs vision is unaccomplished in the country, adding PNDC and many have enriched themselves with the name and vision of Kwame Nkrumah claiming to be Nkrumahist but sold all properties acquired for the state under Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. They hate Nkrumah and that is why they sold all properties established under Nkrumah...many people have enriched themselves with the name and vision of Kwame Nkrumah; they lie to be Nkrumahist but there is no selfless and patriotic leaders in the country anymore..our so called democracy we are practicing is entertaining indemnity clauses to shield corrupt leaders who sold state properties to themselves. If we love Ghana, we wont sit down for refuse to turn tsunami; we are all well because filth has engulfed the country...if we love our country, we will not sit unconcerned for the whites to takes our gold away for free, she fumed on Okay Fms Ade Akye Abia Morning Show.
