WHO Signs Agreement With Norwegian Government To Support Ebola Preparedness In Ghana

The World Health Organization, WHO, has signed an agreement with the Norwegian government for the release of $1 million to support the Global Action Plan for Ebola preparedness in Ghana. The WHO Country Representative to Ghana, Dr Magda Robalo who initialed for her organization said the Ebola outbreak is a public health issue of international concern which threatens global security. She assured representatives of the Norwegian government that the fund will be used for implement critical activities in line with Ghana's preparedness Plan to prevent an Ebola outbreak and the WHO Ebola response road map.
