I Have Not Been Sacked - Adu Asare

Former Member of Parliament for Adentan, Mr Kojo Adu Asare has denied media reports that he has been relieved of his position as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Youth Enterprise Support (YES) Fund. According to him, he was reverted to his role as a presidential staffer but was yet to be assigned a specific role. The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Mahama Ayariga said Monday morning that the former MP had been relieved of his position and had been replaced by a banking professional, Miss Helga Boadi. But speaking on Asempa FM, Mr Adu Asare denied the report saying the impression being created by the report was �completely erroneous�. According to him, he handed over to Miss Boadi last week Wednesday. The Youth Enterprise Support (YES) is an initiative of President John Mahama and was launched on August 12, 2014 with a seed capital of GH�10 million. The YES Initiative has been designed to help Ghana's young and innovative population turn great ideas into thriving business enterprises.
