Better Days Ahead - Manly-Spain Assures NDC Grassroots

Astute businessman and founding member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the United States of America, Henry Manly-Spain, has assured grassroots supporters of the party that there are better days ahead of them if he becomes the chairman of the Greater Accra NDC. According to him, he will ensure that their concerns are addressed through pragmatic programmes and policies in order to take them from their current suffering and neglect. Speaking to the media after voting at the Ablekuma South Constituency Elections over the weekend, Mr. Manly-Spain indicated that, he is in constant touch with the grassroots of the party in the region and is ready to serve them in the chairmanship position when the time comes. He averred that he has been a founding member of the party in USA, Public Relations Officer which is called propaganda, an executive member for the constituency and now branch chairman and therefore wondered how some people could say he has been disqualified even though the guidelines are clear for all to see. He reaffirmed his commitment to the cause of the party and his readiness to contribute his quota to its growth at the regional and national level. The grassroots remain the most fundamental constituency of the party and I am doing my best to restore hope in them. I believe when those at the lower level are appreciated and given the needed support, our party can win any election in the country, no matter the situation, he stated. He assured party supporters of better times ahead, especially when more dynamism is injected into leadership. On the current economic situation in the country, he said he remained hopeful the economy would be turned around to bring smiles on the faces of Ghanaians, asking them to offer their support to the government to succeed. Our situation is not a hopeless one; if we all put our efforts together we can turn things around. Each Ghanaian contribution is vital at this crucial time, he opined.
