Pastors Wives Sometimes Fight Over Sex Osofo Maame Admits

Wife of a renowned church Pastor has expressed displeasure over how some men of God emotionally abuse their wives in the name of prayer and fasting (waiting). A mother of three who only gave her name as Osofo Maame Beckey in an interview with Maame Akua, host of award-winning Abrabo show on Asempa FM, said it is an undeniable fact that some pastors wives are only enjoying their husbands fame and not their marriages. According to her, there have been times when she had to quarrel and fight with her husband over sex because he does not alert her whenever he is fasting or waiting upon God. She said anytime her husband refuses her sex in the name of untimely prayer, she intentionally bangs doors and makes excessive noise just to desrupt any activity that is not making him catch her attention. There have been lots of times that I find my husband standing before the congregation preaching things he does not practice at home with me. She said whenever she discusses issues bothering her, they always end with quotations and biblical stories that talk about seeking the Kingdom of God first. She also complained bitterly that her husband does not listen to her advice, which makes her feel neglected, especially when the husband tells her he was following the instructions of God. The Head Pastor of Freedom Chapel International, Apostle Francis Amoako Atta in response to the cry of some pastors wives counselled that despite their spirituality, pastors also have a thirst for attraction. He said, it is time their wives learn to create and keep a sexy and romantic environment to attract their husbands attention. He claimed, some wives with the help of maidservants, have turned themselves into bus conductors who only care about how much sales they make and benefit from on daily basis but do not care about the welfare of the bus. Apostle Francis Amoako Atta recalled instances where some colleague pastors in conversations displayed ignorance about differentiating the work of God and their responsibilities as husbands. He has therefore encouraged pastors wives and couples to support each other as marriage is not a one man business.
