Omari Wadie Wishes NPP Delegates Well Ahead Of Delegates Congress

On Saturday the 18th of October, 2014 our party shall vote to elect our FLAG-BEARER for the 2016 elections. We bear the burden of proving to Ghanaians that we are a party united in our purpose and determination to win the 2016 General Elections. To discharge this burden there is a need to give a massive endorsement to whoever shall win. I congratulate the three honorable gentlemen who shall be on the ballot come Saturday. A lot has been said throughout the campaign period. This has included promises made specifically to delegates with the aim of getting their votes on Saturday. Some have inadvertently reduced the elections to a contest that does not go beyond the events that shall take place on Saturday. Respectfully, this election is not just about delegates. It is not just about the NPP. It is about our nation. It is about the grassroots and who they want. And it about who ordinary Ghanaians are yearning for. The role of delegates (some one who has been elected or chosen to speak, vote or take decision for a group, i.e. representative) in our party is one of honor and privilege yet it comes with a great deal of responsibility and sacrifice. As per the definition of DELEGATE, you have been chosen to vote not for who you want or which aspirant convinced you most. Key to the role of delegates in our party is listening to the views of the grassroots and honoring the position they have taken by voting in line with their demands and wishes. Throughout the country, it is not lost on any of us the direction that the grassroots of our noble party want the votes to go. It is equally not lost on us who the ordinary Ghanaian voters are yearning for. As honorable representatives of our party, let us honor the wishes of the grassroots of our party by voting in accordance with their wishes come Saturday. Let us not be misled by promises and inducements to vote contrary to what the people want. Vote with the electorate and 2016 in mind Let's vote to kick the NDC out of power in 2016 May God bless us all. Michael Omari-Wadie. 0242270877
