Alan And Nana Addo Are Like Two Bulls - Addai Nimo

Delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who gathered at the Techiman Community Center on Tuesday, 14th October 2016 to listen to Francis Addai Nimo, an aspiring presidential candidate of the party, ahead of the 18th October congress burst into uncontrollable laughter when he likened the other aspirants-Nana Akufo-Addo and Alan Kyeremanten to two fighting bulls. Mr. Addai Nimo told the delegates that he was the suitable person to lead the party into the 2016 general elections. Explaining further, Mr Nimo said since members of Nana and Alan Campaign Teams were fighting each other, he should be elected by the delegates to bring sanity to the party. If two bulls lock horns, it is only a Fulani man who can separate them and I am that Fulani man, according to Mr. Nimo. Mr. Addai Nimo told the delegates that unlike some aspirants who have promised delegates that they would pay their salaries and give them motorbikes, among others, he would not like to disappoint anyone after the contest. The 2016 elections are so crucial to the NPP that nothing should be left to chance, he said, and warned the delegates to be wary of aspirants who make numerous promises. According to Mr. Nimo, if given the nod, he would unite the party and bring on board all passive members of the NPP. He said all hands must be on deck to ensure victory in 2016 and appealed to the delegates not to accept the sweet words of some of the aspirants. The delegates told Daily Guide that though they were impressed with the presentation of Mr. Addai Nimo, they had made up their minds. Afia Nsiah, a polling station executive member from Boankron in the Techiman Municipality, said she and her colleagues would vote for Nana Addo because members of the party in their villages had admonished them to do so.
