The Holy Bible says �a good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks� (Luke 6:45). This is the explanation given by Mrs Ursula Owusu Ekuful in relation to Mavis Ama Frimpong, a Deputy Eastern regional minister, who chanted Kukurudu at an NDC meeting. Mavis Ama Frimpong, a few days ago, courted controversy when he mounted an NDC platform, chanting �Kukurudu�; a slogan belonging to the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP). During a meeting with the national chairman of the party, Dr. Kwabena Adjei at his Residence, the deputy Eastern regional minister shocked Eastern Regional executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) when she chanted "kukurudu kukurudu kukurudu" to prepare the grounds for her welcome address. The chanting went on until she was prompted. Speaking to the issue, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma West said �out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.� �Even NDC Ministers are shouting 'Kukurudu'...And so in 2016; it means the Lord has spoken. They have accepted that the NPP is the only option� she remarked in a panel discussion on �Kokrokoo�, PEACE FM flagship programme.
