Be Calm; But Winning 2016 Is Non-Negotiable - Awuku Tells NPP Youth

National Youth Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), National Youth Organizer of the opposition NPP, Samuel Awuku has urged NPP youth to maintain high discipline as the party gears up for Saturday's presidential primaries. The NPP Youth activist wants the youth to be circumspect in their discourse on social media. Speaking to Kwame Nkrumah "Tikese" on Okay FM's "Ade Akye Abia" Morning Show Friday, Sammy Awuku was of the opinion that the vitriolic attacks by some supporters of the aspirants on social media particularly, facebook, have the tendency to divide the party. As the clock ticks for us to go to the polls tomorrow, I urge all our youth to be circumspect when interacting on social media because, I think that is the main cause of fights amongst our youth. Dirty campaigns on social media must stop, he stressed. He pointed out that it is imperative the party wins the next general elections stressing that all party faithfuls especially the youth, must come together and work hard for victory. We need more empowered youth in our country and so it is our responsibility to make them responsible because when the NPP comes to power in 2016, we will change the dying economy, he noted.
