"My Beef With Lord Kenya Was Purely Hype" - Obrafuor

Celebrated Hiplife artiste Kwabena Otchere Darko aka Obrafour has revealed that the seemingly beef between himself and Lord Kenya in 2007 was purely hype. Both artistes claimed they owned the title, 'Heavyweight Champion'? He made this revelation in an interview with Dr. Pounds on Pluzz FM over the weekend. Obrafour, who has been ruled as one of the best rappers in Ghanas music history said both himself and Abraham Philip Akpor Kenya aka Lord Kenya took advantage of the situation to hype their brands. It was purely hype; we did it for the sake of the game with no buts, it was all hype, he said. He also stated that they are good friends and have always remained good friends ever since the public sparked the hypothetical beef. The 'Pae muka' rapper, who just released his latest single, titled Odasani, featuring the lyrically upright Manifest, said he featured Manifest because he is deep. I respect Manifest; He is deep. I was overwhelmed with what he came up with, he said. Obrafour, whose lyrical dexterity hasnt changed hinted of his upcoming album 'Obrafoforo', is due to be released in March 2015.
