Member of Parliament for Dormaa West constituency, Hon. Vincent Oppong Asamoah, has descended heavily on the current flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party describing him as a �selfish� politician. �With intent of becoming president at all cost�, Nana Akufo Addo, according to the NDC MP doesn�t care if the nation would suffer for his dream to materialize. �He doesn�t care if the entire nation would have to sleep in darkness for him to become president�, he said. Hon. Vincent Oppong Asamoah further stated that Nana Akufo Addo�s political career hit a dead end in 2012; but to avoid leaving the scene that soon, he filed a petition at the Supreme Court to remain relevant in his party. Speaking on UTV, Hon. Asamoah revealed that he was part of the people who went on air explaining to Ghanaians why Nana Addo chose the court after he lost the 2012 presidential elections. According to him, �it was simply for him to secure his political career and make him a legitimate candidate in the party should any election be organized�. Watch Hon.
