Dumsor, An Impediment To Our Rights To Communicate

Pupils of Koforidua demonstration school for the deaf are complaining of the continues power outages their school have been facing. According to them, because they have difficulty in hearing, they develop a great hatred for darkness in their formative years. Apart from that we have find it difficult in communicating easily with our mates in the darkness. The pupils used their hands and sights to express their disgust dissatisfaction to PEACE FM reporter, Michael Akrofi. They said, they hate light-out as they cannot do their homework and worst of all, they have to sleep with so much heat in their dormitories. They are therefore calling for help in the form of solar lights or generators which can support them when there is darkness.
