Vice Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been selected to chair the electoral reforms committee of the party.
The committee which consists of several legal luminaries in the party hopes to reveal the constitution of the party to suit the changing demands of the time.
Its seven members include former NPP chairman, Mr. Peter Mac Manu, former deputy speaker of Parliament, Prof. Mike Oquaye, MPs, Mathew Opoku Prempeh and Adwoa Safo, Nana Joe Mensah and Eugene Antwi who would also serve as the secretary to the committee.
Their announcement of their appointment was contained in a letter signed by the General Secretary, Kwabena Agyapong and released Friday, November 14th, 2014.
