Violent clashes in Wa in the Upper West Region over a parcel of land, have left eight people injured and properties destroyed.
21 persons have been arrested in connection with the violence, according to ASP Edmond Nyamekye, Police Public Relations Officer for the Upper West regional command.
The Upper West Regional Minister, Alhaji Amidu Sulemana and the heads of the various security services in the region have been engaging the heads of the two factions to allow peace to prevail.
Three cars, a house and a number of motorbikes were burnt in the process.
The two factions Jejediyiri and Dondoli have been on each other�s throat until Monday, November 17, when the issue escalated.
