We Are Gradually Exposing Corruption - Mahama Ayariga

Hon. Mahama Ayariga, Minister of Youth and Sports on his Facebook Wall has debunked the perception that corruption is being swept under the carpet by the President Mahama-led administration. Speaking at the launch of the International Students Day at the University of Professional Studies in Accra, Hon. Ayariga argued that President Mahama�s best approach of exposing the systemic nature of corruption is through publicized transparent committees and commissions of Inquiry. He again stated that corruption is thoroughly and publicly investigated to expose the sophistication and full character of corruption, thus, once prosecution starts the courts will take full control of the process. Touching on the launch of the International Students Day, the Minister of Youth and Sports assured the students that every effort is being made to develop the capacity of regulatory institutions to police the quality of education at all levels, urging the student leaders to be alive to their responsibility to monitor education delivery at all levels. He insisted that greater accountability must be demanded of those delivering education services. Corruption is not being swept under the carpet. It is thoroughly and publicly investigated to expose the sophistication and full character of corruption.
