Kumasi Airport will from December this year begin operating night flights, Executive Director of Ghana Airport Company, Charles Asare has announced.
According to him, administrators of the airport are working around the clock to undertake some maintenance, expanding the arrival hall, places of convenience, safety on runway and security systems.
�I must say that by end of December 2014, the Kumasi Airport will be ready.
�The runway will be fixed with lights to extend the domestic flights in the night so as to ease the pressure at the Kotoka International airport� he said on Asempa FM�s Abrokyire Nkomo last Saturday in a discussion with show host Kwaku Amankwatia.
