No Foul Play In Deep Freezer Dead Kids

It is now confirmed that the four siblings who were found dead recently in an unused deep freezer at Bechem in the Brong-Ahafo region died out of suffocation. The Bechem District Police Commander, DSP Emmanuel Baah, disclosed to DAILY GUIDE yesterday that a post-mortem conducted by a pathologist on the dead kids proved that they suffocated, contrary to suspicions that they were killed and dumped in the unused fridge. The four siblingsAli Tanko, 12; Mohammed Alidu, 9; Arafat Adogbru, 5 and Atika Adogbru, 2were found dead in an abandoned deep freezer in front of their house on October 15, 2015 after they were reported to have gone missing by their parents. The father of the deceased children, Mallam Zakaria Adogbru, a spiritualist resident in Bechem, and his wife, Auntie Mary, all Beninois, on that fateful day left the kids at home and went to carry out their usual daily activities. The deceased kids, according to residents, did not attend school on the said day for reasons best known to the parents. When the parents returned home later in the evening around 5:00pm, they couldnt find the children. After a fruitless search, they reported the matter to the police. Eyewitness reports said after many attempts to find the children yielded no results, the search party went to the childrens home, where they instinctively opened one unused deep freezer which had been abandoned in front of the house, only to find the corpses of the kids in it. The police initially detained the parents, who were then traumatised and attempted to commit suicide, to save their lives and also for them to help the police in their investigations. According to DSP Baah, the police have so far not had any useful information that can lead to the arrest of anybody in connection with the incident. He disclosed that the bodies of the kids have been released to the family after the autopsy and they have since been buried.
