Atsu Joins Eto'o In Campaign Against Ebola (VIDEO)

Ghana winger Christian Atsu has joined Everton teammate Samuel Eto'o in new campaign aimed at educating West Africans about the dangers of Ebola. The Everton duo star alongside five other Premier League footballers on the Fight Ebola education channel that has been launched across a number of countries. With West Africa facing the worst Ebola outbreak in history, the channel aims to inform populations in affected areas about the nature and dangers of the disease and how to fight it. The channel's message emphasises the fact that Ebola is spreading and that there is a great need for people to protect themselves, their families and their entire communities. Didier Drogba, Emmanuel Adebayor, Moussa Dembele, John Obi Mikel and Peter Odemwingie have also lent their support to the Fight Ebola channel, which is available to free-to-air television viewers and Pay TV subscribers. Ibrahima Guimba-Saidou, Senior Vice President at SES, a world-leading satellite operator, said: "Fight Ebola broadcasts content to millions of people that need to be informed on the risks of Ebola. Through the channel we hope to further educate people. Many people do not understand this disease and therefore, tragically, do not seek the medical care they need." The channel has come to fruition with assistance from UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders (MSF) and End Ebola Now.
