It�s A Blessing To Help The Poor � Bishop Bonegas

The founder and leader of the Great Fire Pentecostal International Ministry, Bishop Daniel Bonegas, has observed that it is a blessing to help the poor and underpriviledged in the society. According to Bishop Bonegas one cannot describe himself as a good servant of God without assisting the poor, adding that God loves those who give back to the poor. The bishop was speaking on Thursday when the church donated items to the Country-Side Orphanage at Bawjiase in the Central Region as part of the church�s corporate social responsibility. He stated that giving back to the society opened doors for God�s children, and called on all to emulate the church�s gesture. Briefing the press, Bishop Bonegas who was accompanied by some of the church members, said the presentation was also to fulfill the word of God. He said the church understood the importance of the orphanage and thus found it necessary to support it in its charity works. Bishop Bonegas expressed the hope that his ministry would always be available to support the needy in the country. The church has three branches in South Africa ,Cape Coast ,Kumasi and Canada.It has its headquarters at Kasoa. It has supported many organisations, including the Akropong School for the Blind, and the Gomoa Fetteh Village of Hope . He stressed the need for all corporate bodies to assist the government in addressing challenges in the country called for support for the needy, saying that the government cannot solve the problems alone. Ms Emma Boafo Yeboah, founder of the orphanage, who received the items, expressed appreciation to the church for acknowledging the works of the orphanage and finding it necessary to support its operations. She was optimistic the donation would go a long way to help the operations at the orphanage to achieve its goals and objectives. Ms Boafo Yeboah appealed to corporate Ghana to support the orphanage. Some of the items donated were bags of rice, bags of maize, tubers of yam, boxes of soap, washing powder, cooking oil, sandals, toiletries, cooking items, soft drinks, clothes, bags of gari, bags of sugar, a Multi TV decoder among others. Bishop Kissi Bonegas is an international preacher, teacher, healing minister, television evangelist and prophet.He is also a motivational speaker and author. His passion for the work of God has taken him to many places and various conferences around the world, reaching God�s people with the power of the Holy Ghost.
