It would first be piloted and if it works, President Mahama�s administration would be willing to assist landlords with soft loans in order to build toilet facilities for their tenants. This was announced by the President himself when he graced the Kloyosikplemi Festival at Somanya. Sanitation issues in Ghana particularly that of open defecation has been poor for some time now. But with the soft loan scheme to be introduced, President Mahama believes it would minimize the spread of communicable diseases.
