KIA VIP/VVIP Lounge Is Just Like Makola Market Ken Agyapong

Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong says the Kotoka International Airport's [KIA] VIP/VVIP lounge is similar to the largest market in Accra, Makola. He explained that, there is no dignity at the place as it is supposed to be describing it as shameful and appalling. Speaking on OKAY FMs Ade Akye Abia programme on the Nayele Ametefeh cocaine saga, Ken Agyapong insisted government must be blamed for the mishap. According to him, on several occasions he has witnessed low standards at the VIP lounge. Sometimes it is annoying to use the VIP and VVIP lounge. The place is just like Makola market. People without authorization use the place frequently just because they have links in government or connected with some bigwigs associated with government. ..I have experienced some unfortunate happenings there I dont want to talk about it...the VVIP and the VIP lounge must be respected, he lamented. Nayele Ametefeh, the lady with multiple names who traveled from the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) in Accra was arrested at the Heathrow Airport in the UK on the 10th of November. She is currently being held by the British authorities and scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, November 27th. However, reports say replay of the Close Circuit Television [CCTV] recordings at the KIA indicates that Ruby Adu-Gyamfi used the VIP wing together with two other colleagues for the trip, and this was facilitated by some top officials.
