UK High Commissioner More Or Less Spokesperson For Ghanas Opposition - Kwesi Pratt

Ace journalist Kwesi Pratt has descended on the British High Commissioner to Ghana Jon Benjamin, describing him as more or less the spokesperson for Ghanas opposition party. Contributing to a discussion on the recent cocaine bust involving a Ghanaian lady, Nayale Ametefe, in the UK, the Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper said in spite of the official information regarding the matter in the public domain, some people are deliberately spreading falsehood on the matter to paint government black. One of the things that has been so hammed upon was the fact that the lady carried a diplomatic passport. In spite of official denials and in spite of the denial of the British High Commissioner, who indeed has become more or less the spokesperson for the Ghanaian opposition, people still keep peddling this story, he stated on Radio Golds Alhaji and Alhaji, Saturday. He said he has reliable information that Nayele was not holding a Ghanaian diplomatic passport as was earlier reported. He, however, said Ghanaians should welcome the call for a bipartisan investigations into the matter by the main opposition New Patriotic Party.
