Machomen Head Made Chief

The founder of Machomen for Good and Justice, Opanin Kwabena Boakye, has been nominated to occupy the Oyoko Ampofo Stool of Nsuta in the Ashanti region. The occupant of the Ampofo Stool leads Oyoko Royals who migrated from Kokofu and settled in 13 communities in the Nsuta Traditional Area. Opanin Boakye was formerly the Kyidomhene of Sabin Akrofuom, being the son of the Chief of Sabin Akrofuom near Kumasi. He is a peace-maker, as his Machomen for Good and Justice has championed the non-partisanship of the security agencies to ensure effective security for the people during elections The en-stoolment ceremony, which comes off at the Sekyere Nsutaman Palace on Monday December 8, 2014, would be presided over by Nana Adu Agyei Bonsafo II, Omanhene of Nsuta Traditional Area, and Barima Ofe Kwasi Okogyeasuo, Omanhene of Kokofu Traditional Area. On ascension of the Ampofo Stool of Nsuta, Opanin Boakye automatically assumes the position of Senior Linguist of the Omanhene of Nsuta Traditional Area. Dignitaries expected to grace the august occasion on Monday, include Kwame Agyei, Member of Parliament for Nsuta, Collins Ntim, MP for Offinso North, Mr. Jacob Osei Yeboah, former independent presidential candidate, Mr. Yeboah Kodie, Oyoko Abusuapanin of Atonsu, and the entire Oyoko Family of Nsuta and Kokofu.
