Azorka Warns Troublemakers Targeting NDC Congress

Northern Regional Chairman of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) has served notice that his boys will deal with troublemakers at the partys upcoming national delegates congress on Saturday December 20 in Kumasi. In an interview with Citi News, Chief Awudu Sofo Azorka at his private residence in Tamale said his boys will at the congress to fish out troublemakers and hand them over to security operatives. He therefore advised party supporters from the Northern Region to comport themselves in Kumasi before, during and after the congress. He also urged all aspirants, their campaign team and supporters to accept the outcome of the congress and forge ahead in unity for victory in 2016. Chief Awudu Sofo Azorka disagreed with people who described the upcoming delegates as a Do and die affair and predicted that the NDC will come out more united than ever. He said losers who decide to desert the party after the congress will regret their actions. He said preparations were far advanced for the northern delegates departure on Friday December 19. Citi News gathered that about a hundred vehicles will leave Tamale for Kumasi on Friday. Meanwhile, the Ashanti Regional Police headed by Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Kofi Boakye has assured to provide adequate security during the congress.
