More Than 50% Of My Support Is From Rawlings Influence; I'm Grateful To Him - Kofi Adams

Those who think that the founder of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Former President Jerry John Rawlings has no influence in his party should have a rethink because his influence is working magic for the aspiring National Organizer, Kofi Adams. According to Kofi Adams, more than 50 per cent of his support is emanating from former President Rawlings as his influence in the party is still intact upon visiting the delegates in the whole country to campaign for the National Organizer bid. More than 50 percent of my support is emanating from President Rawlings. He has a lot of influence in the party and I did not know until I started going round with my campaign...he has publicly declared his support for me; he still has a lot of influence in the party from the grassroots, he stated. He has thrown his weight behind me and this is a man that whether you are his son or brother and you have done something wrong, he will not support you; so if he has come out clearly to say nice things about me, I am grateful to him, he emphasized. Speaking on Metro TVs Good Evening Ghana, Kofi Adams admitted that he is enjoying a lot support from the NDC and he doesnt see why President Mahama will not support someone who the people think can help the party to retain power. If I am an organizer of a party, anybody who seriously wants to win elections will support me...I have a lot of support from the NDC and I dont see why the President will not support someone the people think can help the party retain power, he opined.
