Gov�t Has Serious Communication Problem � Koku Anyidoho
The newly elected Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has indicated that the Mahama-led administration is seriously challenged in terms of communication.
According to him government�s inability to effectively communicate its successes and achievements sends the signal that much is not being done to develop the nation.
�We have a serious problem with our communications as a government; it�s a big challenge,� he remarked.
The former Director of Communications under the late President John Mills� administration told Citi News, he is now bringing to the fore his observation because , �it would have been self-serving.�
He was elated that his election as Deputy General Secretary will give him the platform to use his communication expertise to enlighten Ghanaians on the good works of the NDC government.
�Now that I have the mandate to speak on behalf of the party, that is one thing that I am going to do,� he promised.
Mr. Anyidoho disclosed that during his campaign trips across the country prior to the party�s national delegates� congress, the grassroot members of the NDC were �worried� that the failures of the party�s communication team will lead to the NDC�s defeat in 2016.
�You go on the ground and people are worried�our communication is a big problem,� he said.
He was however confident that serving under the able leadership of his boss, Johnson Asiedu Nketia will help improve the fortunes of the party in 2016.
